The Regnum Comission

A quid-pro-quo commission from a fellow artist AZ Rune, this map is made for a soon-to-start RPG campaign. The client provided me with a rough map and some written guidance, and this is what I came up with. With this map, I tried to do as little direct terrain marking as possible: just borders, city labels, and a few geographic labels.

Acknowledgements:
+The techniques I used in making this map were variations on four separate Arsheesh tutorials, specifically his Eriond tutorial, his map border tutorial, his heraldic shield mini-tutorial, and his icon mini-tutorial.
+The client took the northern continent's original outline from an Arsheesh map (Eriond, I think). I re-did the topography and climate.
+The general shape of the Vorlantis heraldry, The flame in the Yin Drakkos shield and the lion in the Sussuria shield are based on free-use images that I could find no artist credits for. They are not exact traces, but I used them as references.
+The outline of the southern continent comes from a Palladium Fantasy book, the Library of Bletherad.
